An antique English solid sterling silver vinaigrette, opening to reveal a gilded interior and hinged grille.
A totally original, immensely collectable little box...so collectable!
CONDITION
: All original and very good. Some signs of wear commensurate with age and use. Monogram to lid mostly rubbed away.
DEFECTS
: None.
DATE/MARKS
: English hallmark for B'ham 1801. Maker's marks TW.
DIMENSIONS
: 11 tall, 23 x 16 mm (1 inch = 25.4 mm). To give an impression of scale, the coin is 19 mm or ¾ of an inch diameter.
WEIGHT
: Approx. 9.4 grams.
