THIS IS A RARE OLD GEORGIAN PERIOD SILVER AND GOLD WASH VINAIGRETTE HAND MADE BY
WARDELL AND KEMPSON

IT'S QUITE DAINTY AND HAS A COVER WITH AN ENGRAVED PATTERN  ON BOTH SIDES AND IS SOMEWHAT CONCAVE, NOT FLAT. IT'S ABOUT .75X.5X.25" THICK.
THE INSIDE CENTER PORTION OPENS SIDEWAYS FOR THE FAVORITE SCENT (WORN GOLD WASH INSIDE) AND THE COVER AND BASE BOTH ARE MARKED AS YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE.
I BOUGHT THIS AT AUCTION 30 YEARS AGO AND IT WAS CALLED:

I'M NOT THE EXPERT HERE BUT ASK FIRST AND IT'S NOT DATED BUT LIKELY THE EMBLEMS CAN BE DECODED FOR THE AGE OR PERIOD AND IT IS INITIALED W&K. VERY NICE OLD PIECE SHIPPED SECURE WITH INSURANCE.
