Lovely Victorian Solid Silver & Glass Vinaigrette
Description -
Wonderful 19th century cut glass vinaigrette with a domed hinged lid with hand engraved floral decoration plus a cartouche with engraved "Vinaigrette" the inside is silver-gilt (gold washed).
The interior has a pierced silver-gilt grill embellished with exquisite repoussé and chased flowers.
Original interior sponge
Unmarked - tests as solid silver
Condition -
In very good condition, there is a minor knock and dint to the rear of the lid
Glass very good order and hinge strong and shuts securely.
