    Description

    Miniature silver vinaigrette in the form of a melon or pumpkin. It opens to reveal a pierced scrollwork grill.  It is 1 1/2" (39mm) in length.  There is no major damage to the piece, but a few small dings (clearly visible in pictures).  Country of origin is unknown, but it would have been made some time in the early to mid 19th century.
