This blue bird candle holder figurine is a retro item from 1979. It is from the Luvkin Songbirds Collection. The detail is fantastic! Lifelike! I remember these as I was growing up! The colors are bright but not obnoxious. The bird is a true blue, with delicate eyes, a reddish brown tummy, white legs with the nails visable. He/she is perched on a brown tree trunk. The little holder for a candle is tan with some tiny flowers and leaves on it.
It measures approx 5" tall and approx 4" in length. And approx 2" wide in width. It would easily sit on a windowsill if you live in a small apartment.
On the bottom it has 1979 Jasco Hand painted Luvkin Songbirds  Fine Bisque Porcelain In Taiwan.
